  1. It’s crazy to think how good Nintendo did since 2018 was considered a “off year” I could only imagine how good this year is going to be for them! Luigi‘s mansion 3, Pokémon generation 8, Animal Crossing and many more!

  2. Donkey Kong tropical freeze is a platforming masterpiece that goes above and beyond with music, level design, and graphics, the love and passion put into the game is clearly visible and I'm glad that this port got the sales it deserved.

  3. Nobody said it was an "off year" thinking sales wise, was the second year of a boom of a console of course it wasn't going to be dry on the numbers department. The "off year" for me was because of the Quality of a large number of Nintendo releases. Kirby was easy as heck and more of the same, Mario Tennis Aces was pretty bad, Super Mario Party was also pretty dissapointing and the Let's Go games were a cash grab they made probably in just a few months (btw this also applies to Aces and Party), AND NO, THE UPDATES OF SOME OF THEM DOESNT COUNT, THEY WERE RELEASED UNFINISH AND WERE SOLD FULL PRICE..

  4. It's so disappointing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 isn't selling that well…. It's my favorite Switch game. I feel bad that so many people don't get to experience it. I wish Nintendo marketed it more and better.

  5. Smash ultimate has made Super Smash Bros. the best selling fighting game series of the fighting genre, while also being the most sold fighting game of all time surpassing its own previous game Brawl. When you're so good your only competition is yourself lol. True success for and from lord Sakurai.

  6. The sales show (or imply) that the "spoon feeding/finish it later business model" isn't doing Nintendo any favours outside the splatoon series. Aces, Allies and Arms all used this model and lacked content day one, they ended up flopping (relatively).
They all have each sold less units than 1-2 switch, that's not a good sign.
